Rhys Shulver moving on to California!
Everyone at The New Croft would like to congratulate our Sports Development apprentice Rhys Shulver on his huge achievements over the past two years. Rhys will be leaving The New Croft in March after gaining a full time coaching contract in California. Rhys has achieved various qualifications over the past few years including his FA level 1 & 2, FA Youth Awards 1,2 and 3, futsal and goalkeeping badges alongside two sports development awards. New Croft to host Suffolk FA youth semi finals
The New Croft is to host Suffolk FA's new Festival of Football day this March. Nine out of the ten youth cup competitions will see their semi finals played at the Croft, meaning a total of 18 matches being played on Sunday 12th March. Haverhill PDC Coaching Bursary Scheme
The cost of the coaching course is often cited as one of the barriers to coaches obtaining qualifications. To support them, a bursary scheme has been set up which will run between January 2017 - April 2017 and will be available for any new volunteers or aspiring young coaches wishing to develop. Fantastic festive attendances at the Croft
A huge thank you to all who turned out over the festive period for the football matches we had at the Croft. A crowd of 275 watched Rovers' 1-2 defeat to Saffron Walden Town on Boxing Day, followed by 115 who came the following day to see Borough defeat Team Bury 4-1. Read more...
