PadAll Officially Open

We’re delighted to announce that the three brand-new padel courts at The New Croft are now officially open. The courts have been developed and are operated by Haverhill Padel Club Limited, a new venture launched by local businessman Callum Slater.

After months of planning and hard work, Haverhill’s first dedicated padel club officially opened its doors on Sunday.

More than 200 people attended the launch event on Sunday 3 May, where a ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of PADALL Haverhill at The New Croft on Chalkstone Way. The event brought a fantastic atmosphere as the local community came together to celebrate the arrival of the town’s newest sport.

Callum Slater first approached the team at The New Croft around 18 months ago with the idea of building padel courts at the site. Following successful planning approval and the completion of the project, he is confident the club will become a popular and lasting addition to the area.

Padel is a fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis and squash. It is played with solid, stringless racquets on an enclosed court surrounded by glass walls, allowing the ball to rebound during play.

Both Callum and the team at The New Croft are excited to introduce a new sporting opportunity to the community and are extremely proud of the finished facility.
