We are proud to share that Tracy Thomas, our Operations and Facility Manager, recently attended the Women in Football Leadership Course (Level 1 & 2) at Fulham Football Club.

This course provided an incredible opportunity for personal and professional development, equipping Tracy with valuable leadership skills to bring back to The New Croft.

The two-day programme focused on key aspects of leadership, with Day 1 emphasising the importance of self-awareness and self-discovery as a foundation for growth. Day 2 then built on this, developing confidence and key leadership skills such as communication, decision-making, and conflict management.

Attending the course was not only a fantastic learning experience for Tracy but also a chance to connect with other women working in football. As a sport that plays a central role at both The New Croft and The New Croft Foundation, developing strong leaders within football is crucial for the continued growth of our programmes.

Reflecting on the experience, Tracy said: “The course gave me a great chance to take time to review my leadership style and how to adjust this to different people and situations. Plus, I met some wonderful, talented women who I hope to stay in touch with!”

We are delighted to see Tracy taking steps to enhance her leadership skills and bring fresh insights back to The New Croft.
