Darts fans were treated to an unforgettable evening at The New Croft as two legends of the sport, Keith Deller and Russ Bray, joined us for a fantastic night of entertainment, competition, and fundraising.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with a complimentary burger while Keith and Russ made their way around the room, socialising and chatting with everyone. Their presence created a brilliant atmosphere, setting the tone for an exciting and interactive event.
The action began with a mini doubles tournament, where attendees paired up to compete for a set of darts. Each player was given nine darts, with their scores combined to determine the highest-scoring duo. The winning pair walked away with a brand-new set of darts, making for a thrilling and competitive start to the evening.
Adding to the excitement, an auction was held for the chance to play against former World Champion Keith Deller himself. The auction proved to be a great success, raising an impressive £200 for The New Croft. The lucky winners had the incredible opportunity to take on Keith in a memorable showdown.
The evening continued with a fascinating Q&A session, where guests had the chance to learn more about Keith and Russ’s careers in darts. Their stories, insights, and humour made for an engaging and inspiring discussion that was enjoyed by all.
To conclude the night, the final of the tournament took place, bringing the competition to an exciting close.
