We are delighted to announce that Norwich City RDP have extended their partnership with Haverhill Rovers FC for the coming season. The partnership will see their continued support of Haverhill’s Girls Football Pathway, as well as the delivery of Advanced Player Development Centre at The New Croft.
Throughout the season RDP staff will be working with Haverhill Rovers’ girls pathway teams by delivering taster sessions and offering invitations to RDP events, as well as delivering CPD to Rovers’ coaches and staff.
Over the previous two seasons RDP have been delighted to invite Rovers’ teams to take part in their festivals and fixture days, as well as to recent weekend residential at the Nest which saw Haverhill Rovers Women’s First Team vs Norwich City Women’s FC take part in a pre-season friendly.
For the third consecutive season they will be delivering an Advanced Girls Player Development Centre at The New Croft on a Friday evening, offering girls within the community the opportunity to receive weekly training with RDP staff and to be a part of their Advanced fixture programme during school holidays. If you are interested in finding out more about Haverhill Advanced PDC, they will be running an open training session on Wednesday 24th August 5-6pm at The New Croft. For more information and to register your daughter’s place, contact their Girls Football Development Officer phoebe.webb@canaries.co.uk
RDP Operations Manager Jack Rayner gave the following comments on the renewed partnership: “Rovers are a fantastic club and we have enjoyed developing a successful working relationship over the previous seasons, which we are excited to now develop further and move forward with. A number of Rovers players have been fantastic additions to our advanced centre, and when attending other RDP events such as the residential at the Nest, and half-term fixtures. We are delighted to be able to offer these opportunities to girls within Haverhill and surrounding communities, and support the brilliant girls football provision that Rovers offer.”
Peter Betts Football Development Manager added “Our female partnership with Norwich RDP has continued to grow and flourish over the past year or so. The extended partnership now offers Haverhill Rovers girls and women’s fantastic benefits that will really make a positive impact for both our coaches and players within our pathway. The football club will now be able to offer unique developmental experiences for all our female members as a result, we would like to thank Matt Clements and Jack Rayner for striving to continually improve the current partnership and what it provides”
